Your own AI

Melelem:
AI that's yours.

Everyone's using AI now. You can usually tell. There's a certain flatness to it: a phrase that's just a little too smooth, a rhythm that gives it away. Melelem doesn't have that problem, because it isn't working from a generic script. It's working from yours.

Free to join. Your own model comes with a subscription.
01 / YOUR OWN MODEL

No prompting or training manuals. Just show it how you write.

Give it some of your own writing and Melelem trains a private model on it. That model is yours alone and is never pooled with anybody else, and neither is the writing it was trained on: both stay in the harness rather than inside the model.

  • It learns fast. A few samples and some edits, and it's trained on how you write.
  • What it is trained on stays in the harness you own, not inside the model
Loose handwriting resolving into one crisp glowing signature lineYours alone
02 / OWN THE HARNESS

Own the harness. Rent the engines.

Your memory, context, people, and projects live in Melelem, not inside any model. Models are stateless engines it calls and swaps at will. Nothing about you is lost when a model is replaced or a better one launches, and you are never tied to one model or one model maker.

  • Your durable self stays in the harness you own
  • Outside models are reached through OpenRouter today, and a new one is a configuration entry rather than an integration, so it arrives near day one
  • Nothing is ever quietly failed over onto a route that would keep your work; if the chosen model cannot be reached, your own model answers instead

03 / ROUTING, PART BY PART

You don't have to pick a model. It picks for you.

New AI models launch constantly, and most tools lock you into just one. When something better comes out, you're stuck waiting, or starting over somewhere else. Melelem doesn't work that way.

  • It routes the work. Each part of a task goes to whichever model handles it best.
  • New models, no setup. A new one is a configuration entry rather than an integration, so it arrives near day one.
  • Nothing gets lost. Your voice, your history, the way it works with you, all of it carries over.
  • Never locked in. Not to one model, not to one company's timeline. That's what future-proof means.

04 / YOU ARE IN CONTROL

Two controls, four presets, and nothing else to tune.

You set one number: the most you want spent on outside models in a month. You top up in credit packs, and a pack is what appears on your card statement, alongside the subscription itself. Melelem works out what any single answer may use from what is left and what your answers have been costing, then shows you that figure rather than asking you to set it. You pick one of four presets for what to aim for. And one switch keeps everything on your own model, with no outside call at all. That is the whole of it. There is nothing else to tune, and no exchange rate between speed and quality for you to guess at.

What to aim for

Fast
Answer now, cheaply
Balanced
Good work at a sane price
Deep
The best available, and willing to pay for it
Creative
A wider spread of models, tried harder

What to spend

$20 of credits left for outside models

$30 of a $50 pack spent, and credits do not expire. This answer may use up to 38c, worked out from what is left and what your answers have been costing. You never set that one.

Privacy

Keep everything on my own model

On, and nothing leaves. Off, as shown, and work goes to an outside model when that gives you a better answer, only ever to a provider that will not keep it.

The two controls, as they appear in the app. Figures shown are an example.
05 / PRIVACY THAT KEEPS YOUR EDGE

Your work stays yours.

We think privacy should be the default, not something you have to dig through settings to find. Sometimes Melelem needs to send part of your work to an outside AI model to get a task done. Here's what that means for you:

  • Trusted providers only. Outside work only ever goes to companies who agree not to keep or store what you send them. There's no setting that changes that.
  • Before anything is sent, a deterministic pass masks emails, names, numbers, and figures, and once your own model is set up a second pass generalises what only you would know is sensitive.
  • Or keep it all in-house. One switch keeps everything on your own model, with nothing ever sent out at all.
  • You decide what connects. Linking Melelem to the tools and files you use every day is always your choice, never automatic.

06 / CONNECT TO EVERYTHING

Everything you use, one click each.

SaaS tools run server-side, so they work in the pure web app with no install. Local files will come through an optional companion you scope yourself.

A central core ringed by a growing constellation of connector tokensEight today and growing

The tools you already use

One-click connectors to Notion, Linear, Atlassian for Jira and Confluence, Sentry, Cloudflare, Webflow, Stripe and PayPal. Eight today, plus Cloudflare Docs, which is public documentation search and needs no account at all. Gmail, Docs, Drive and Calendar are coming: those servers are real and sit behind the Google Developer Preview, which is what we are waiting on. GitHub, Asana, Box and HubSpot follow as soon as each app registration completes.

Your files

Attach a PDF, Word document, or text file to any message and Melelem reads it and answers on it. Coming soon: an optional companion you install and grant folder access, scoped globally, per project, or per conversation, plus cloud folders and Melelem storage that follow you everywhere.

Least-privilege by default

Connectors run server-side over sandboxed, scope-limited access, so they work in the browser with no install and only ever see what you allow.

07 / WHAT'S COMING NEXTComing soonMultimodal creation, file deliverables, and Do Mode are in the works and not in the product yet. Today Melelem answers in text, routed across the best models for each part.

Beyond text. Then Do Mode.

Soon, Melelem will create images, video, audio, and full presentations, each handed off to whichever specialist model does that job best. What you get back is a real, finished file saved straight to your folder, ready to use, not a preview you have to rebuild somewhere else. And in Do Mode, Melelem will be able to act directly through the tools you've connected, drafting the email, updating the doc, booking the thing, but never without asking you first. Nothing happens behind your back.

  • Images, video, audio and full presentations, each handed to the specialist best at that job
  • A real, finished file saved straight to your folder, not a preview
  • Do Mode acts through your connected tools, and never without asking you first

08 / REPRESENT-YOU COLLABORATION

Work with people, without handing over your login.

Sometimes the work isn't solo, and Melelem is built for that too. Bring anyone in, and nobody has to hand over their account or share yours. A turn you take is answered in your account, on your subscription; a turn they take is answered in theirs, once they have one, and without a subscription the first shared conversation somebody is invited to comes with ten answers on us, after which they take part as themselves. Here's how it comes together:

  • One shared conversation, separate models. You work side by side in the same thread, and each subscriber brings their own trained model to it. Your voice stays yours, and so does theirs.
  • @mention to pull someone in. Tag anyone and they're added to the thread, no separate invite process to manage.
  • A people list for easy reuse. The collaborators you work with most are always a click away, so you're not hunting them down each time.
  • Projects to keep it all organised. Threads, people, and context live together in one place, so nothing gets scattered as work grows.

Agents and Skills.

Take what you have taught your AI and turn it into something others can use. Package it as an Agent or a Skill, keep it in your library, gift it to someone, or publish it and keep 90 percent of what it earns. A model of your own. Engines you rent. A harness you own.

You get your own AI from day one, the best models in the world on tap the moment a job calls for them, and the people you work with just one hand-off away. Nothing else out there puts all of that in your hands, and yours alone.

Start free, own it when you're ready.

You can try Melelem as a guest, no strings attached. If somebody has invited you into a conversation, the first ten answers there are on us. After that you take part as yourself. When you're ready for your own trained model, one that's actually trained on your writing and your work, that comes with a subscription.
